Hi, I'm a UX/UI designer residing in San Francisco, CA.
I have a background in 2D/3D drafting, graphic design, and photography.
I delight myself in creativity & I find a lot of importance in storytelling.
Through my designs, I would like to bridge the gap that separate businesses and consumers.
What got me into UXUI Design?
Born in the Philippines, I moved here to the United States at the age of 12. Coming from a country that wasn't rich in opportunities as the US, I was able to see a lot of hardships and struggles that people experienced.
I would say that seeing all that at a young age was what gave me the heart of empathy towards people. Along with with being an empath person, I was also someone who was creative, I enjoyed drawing and coloring. These traits are something that I carry along with me until today.
Starting college, I first studied nursing but it felt like I was letting go of my creative side at that time. I decided to take a leap of faith and switched majors to graphic design, while at the same time I was also learning photography as a hobby on the side.
In the end, I discovered UX/UI Design.
It was a perfect fit for myself since I was able to let my creativity out by creating designs, and at the same time be able to use my empathy by understanding users and building them a better product experience.
